San Diego Blue Moon Events presents concerts by local and national independent musicans and recording artists in intimate “house concert” venues. In the near future, we will also begin hosting other special events. Proceeds will be used to support and encourage local and independent musicians.
For the first Blue Moon Events show (time and location below), we are proud to feature Chris Trapper, a truly remarkable singer/song-writer from Boston, whose songs bridge all musical genres. You have heard some of his music if you have seen the movies “Something About Mary,” “Me, Myself & Irene,” or “The Devil Wears Prada.” Recent television shows such as “ER,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” and “Pepper Dennis” have also featured his songs.
Although Chris is perhaps best known for his work as the front man for “The Push Stars,” his highly-regarded and nationally-acclaimed rock band, he has written, produced, and recorded 3 solo CDs, the most recent of which, “Hey You,” has garnered substantial critical acclaim.
Also performing will be Christopher Dale, a local San Diego singer/song-writer about whom Slamm Magazine wrote, "...convincing lyrics that are then sung in one of music's most beautiful voices. This man's got acoustic soul." Christopher Dale most recently toured Australia, adding to the solid fan base he has built in Southern California and Phoenix, Las Vegas, New York City, Chicago, Columbus OH, and Albuquerque NM.
